The Deborah O. Belcher Servant’s Heart Award, in honor of one initial incorporator of the foundation and former president – Deborah O. Belcher, seeks to recognize the significant impact a student has made serving the needs of others and their community while achieving academic excellence.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
- High school senior
- Official Transcript with 3.5 grade point average or higher
- Proof of Acceptance to an accredited 4-year College or University in the fall/spring proceeding graduation from high-school
- (1) letter of recommendation (e.g. school counselor/school teacher, church member or community leader)
- (1) Academic or Community Service Resume

Why is servant leadership so important in today’s society and how will you make a difference in our community in the 21st century?
